Short Stacking Rush Poker

A lot of money can be won and lost playing rush poker. The key is finding what works and rolling with it. With a normal table if you sit down, double up, leave the table, and try to sit back down at the same table you have to bring the amount you left with back to the table.

With Full Tilts rush poker on the other hand, you can double up leave the table and come back with the normal buyin. This allows you to short stack rush poker and pull money from it over and over again. The only question left is how to short stack rush poker the right way?

The best way is coming in with the bare minimum buyin. Let’s use $1/$2 no limit texas holdem rush poker for an example. The minimum buyin is $80. This will make other players want to call if you shove all in. This is exactly what we want them to do. We are looking for that quick double up so we can leave and come back in with $80 again.

You want to focus on four hands; AA, KK, QQ, JJ. These are the only hands you should be playing. Once you have doubled up left and came back with bare minimum buyin over and over again. Then you want to expand your hand selection if you feel conformable to do so by playing hands like 1010, AK, AQ, and AJ.

Things you want to look at for is being the big blind and small blind a lot before receiving a premium hand to shove all in with. You may need to play a few hands to win small pots to maintain your chip stack around $80 so when you double up its worth it to leave and come back with $80 again.

I recommend practicing this at one of the lower stakes to get the hang of this rush poker strategy.
